Who runs this site

equipment-specs.com is run by Bakery Labs, based in the Netherlands. For questions about your data or to object to measurement, email corrections@equipment-specs.com.

What we measure

We count visits to see which pages are read and where the site can improve. We record the page you view, the site that linked to it, your browser and device type and the country derived from your IP address. We also record when someone clicks a link to a manufacturer or photo source, opens a correction email or switches between metric and imperial units.

The statistics are aggregated. We build no visitor profiles, make no session recordings and use the data for no advertising.

No cookies

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser for measurement. PostHog combines your IP address, browser and this site into a hash with a value that changes every day. The same visitor therefore counts as new each day, and visits cannot be linked across days or devices.

Who processes the data

We use PostHog Cloud EU, which processes the statistics for us as a processor. Requests go through our own domain and are forwarded to PostHog. Fonts and images are served from equipment-specs.com itself. The site is hosted by Vercel.

We rely on our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used. You can object at any time, below or by email.

Stop measuring my visits

Your visits are measured as described above.

Your choice is stored as one setting in this browser, so analytics no longer loads. Clearing your site data resets it. Without JavaScript, nothing is measured.

Email

If you email a correction, we use your message and address to check and fix the figure and to reply. The mailbox runs on Microsoft 365.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Because visit statistics use a daily changing hash, we cannot link them to you. If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
