Who runs this site
Equipment Specs is a project by Bakery Labs, based in the Netherlands. It aims to provide a free and complete database of compact equipment specifications. It starts with skid steers and compact track loaders: 25 models from Bobcat, Caterpillar and Kubota today, with more models and brands added in batches.
The site is free to use and independent. It is not affiliated with Bobcat, Caterpillar or Kubota.
Why
Manufacturers spread specifications over regional pages, brochures, footnotes and archived model pages. The same machine can carry different figures depending on the region, the undercarriage or the rating basis, and an isolated number can be wrong for the machine you have. Equipment Specs keeps every figure next to the configuration it describes and the document it comes from.
How we source
Every figure comes from an official manufacturer document: a product page, an archived model page or a printed specification sheet. Each row records the manufacturer's own label, the published value and unit, the page, table, column or view it was read from, and the date the source was inspected.
Where the documentation does not settle a figure, the page says so instead of picking one:
- Unresolved: published, but the source does not establish which configuration or serial range it covers.
- Conflicting: two places in the documentation disagree; both figures are shown.
- Not stated: the reviewed source does not publish the figure; it is never shown as zero.
Figures appear in both unit systems, US units first. A value the manufacturer published is printed as published; a value we converted is set in brackets.
How the data is checked
Records are extracted and reviewed with AI assistance: the figures are transcribed from the source and compared with it a second time. There is no independent human review. Each model page names who reviewed the record, when, and what the review covered.
Before you buy, transport or lift with a machine, check the manufacturer's source for your exact configuration.
Corrections
Found a wrong or missing figure? Email corrections@equipment-specs.com with the page, the figure and the source for the correct value. Every model page has a "Report a correction" link that fills this in for you.
